Kirkjubol in Bjarnardalur
In the Westfjords, more specific at Kirkjuból in Bjarnadalur, in Önundarfjörður, we operate a small and friendly guesthouse, which is a part of the Icelandic Farm Holidays. The hosts are Gudmundur and his wife, Frida along with Gudmundur’s brother Jon and his wife Hugrun.
When staying in the Westfjords there are endless possibilities of new experiences. The location of Kirkjuból is very central and ideal for taking short trips around Westfjords in the daytime and then return in the evenings for a meal and perhaps to enjoy short walks in the bright summer night after dinner.
Everyone should be able to find something of interest, whether it´s discovering the history, nature watching, hiking, looking for a fish to catch and enjoying the outdoor experiences or just relaxing in the cozy environment of our farmhouse.
Kirkjuból is open 2010, in June, July and August. We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful place in the Westfjords.
